New Visual Identity
In 2022, Sainsbury’s Bank had a complete rebrand. I worked with other designers in our studio team to collaborate with Ogilvy design agency on the new Visual Identity for Sainsbury’s Bank. Ogilvy created a sample design and we then rolled out the design principles across all other products.
Travel Money was the product that was redesigned by Ogilvy and using this design as a template we rolled out the same principles across all other products.
Dynamic text, framing devices and lifestyle imagery were the core brand assets.
Point of sale roll out
I worked on the complete POS roll out of the new Travel Money re-design. This was the first product that launched in Sainsbury’s stores as part of Sainsbury’s Bank’s new VI.
Here are a few of the pos assets from the Instore roll out
loans development
Working with the new VI and our new visual assets (dynamic text and lifestyle imagery) I developed some initial ideas for our Loans product.
Making sure the dynamic text blended well with the imagery was a core element of the new VI.
final outcome
The final design (above) was chosen as we felt that it showcased the relationship between Sainsbury’s stores and Sainsburys Bank products. Highlighting some of the benefits of our Loans ‘quick and easy’ while comparing that to your weekly shop.
